SARS-CoV-2 viral RNA load in Saskatoon’s wastewater has increased by 100.7 per cent. This is based on averages of three individual daily measurements in the latest reporting period which is compared to the weekly average of the previous weeks. The level is categorized as medium.
Despite the significant jump in viral RNA load in wastewater, the amount of COVID-19 in Prince Albert is still considered low. SARS-CoV-2 viral RNA load in Prince Albert’s wastewater has increased by 265.1 per cent.
In North Battleford it is also low and the amount of viral RNA in wastewater decreased 11.2 per cent in the most recent reporting period.
