Almost seven months to the day after a man died as a result of an assault in Regina, the Regina Police Service has arrested a suspect and charged him with second degree murder.
Thirty-three-year-old Forrestre Jade Windigo of Regina was to make his first appearance in Regina Provincial Court Tuesday afternoon after being taken into custody recently. He had been wanted in connection to the homicide of 34-year-old Bryant Thayne Starr, who passed away on October 25 – 13 days after police were sent to Regina General Hospital for a report of a man suffering from wounds consistent with an assault.
