A Saskatoon Police officer received minor injuries after responding to a call Thursday night about an intoxicated person. Patrol officers were dispatched around 7:30 that night to a restaurant in the 200 block of 22nd Street about an intoxicated man sleeping in the bathroom. Police say the man became extremely combative when they were trying to wake him up. It’s alleged he assaulted an officer by shoving and choking them. A 32-year-old man is charged with assaulting a police officer and breach of conditions.
