The Canadian Football League pre-season is done with the 2023 regular-season set to start on Thursday with the B-C Lions visiting the Calgary Stampeders at 7 p.m. The Saskatchewan Roughriders open their regular-season schedule on Sunday, June 11th at 5 p.m. when they visit the Edmonton Elks. The Green and White’s regular-season home-opener is Friday, June 16th against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Kick-off time is 7 p.m. at Mosaic Stadium.

The 2023 Provincial High School Track and Field Championships continue and wind up today at the Gordie Howe Sports Complex’s track and field facility. Approximately 1,500 athletes from 200 Saskatchewan schools are expected to take part. Events begin at 9 a.m. and run throughout the day.
