A survey from Angus Reid Institute indicates that Saskatchewan people are struggling with the cost of living more than anywhere else in Canada.
The provincial NDP’s Affordability Critic says this confirms what the Official Opposition has been saying – that Saskatchewan people are struggling to pay their bills. Trent Wotherspoon cites that 59 per cent of Saskatchewan people surveyed said they are financially worse off than a year ago and 55 per cent said they have a “tough” or “very difficult” time paying their rent or mortgage. He suggests this is because the provincial government is out-of-touch.
