Yesterday, Biggar RCMP responded to a serious accident on Highway 14 between Kinley and Perdue and now report that it was a fatal one. Police say a westbound pickup truck and eastbound semi collided, and then a westbound SUV hit the pickup truck. The driver and sole occupant of the pickup, an 85-year-old man from Foam Lake, was declared dead at the scene. The driver of the SUV was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Biggar RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of an RCMP collision reconstructionist.
