There is a weather advisory for Meadow Lake, Big River, Green Lake, and the Battlefords, Unity, Maidstone areas. Environment Canada says conditions are favourable fore the development of funnel clouds this afternoon. The weak rotation of a funnel cloud is normally not a danger near the ground, however, Environment Canada says the rotation could intensify and become a weak landspout tornado. This is just an advisory at this point, not a watch or a warning.
