A 24-year-old man is in Prince Albert Provincial Court today charged in connection to a weekend homicide.

Just after midnight on Saturday, Prince Albert RCMP responded to an injured person call at a home on the Muskoday First Naton. Their investigation determined a fight occurred between two people outside the home and a 27-year-old man from the First Nation was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim is Wade Dreaver.

The accused, also from Muskoday First Nation is Chance Smith and he is charged with second degree murder.
