Two separate single vehicle incidents resulted in two people being declared deceased in the early morning hours of Sunday. One of the accidents was a single vehicle rollover on Highway 47, south of Springside, which resulted in the death of the 64-year-old male driver after he was transported to hospital.
Yorkton RCMP responded to the report around 12:45 a.m. on June 18, along with EMS, STARS and the Springside Fire Department. Two adult passengers were taken to hospital for further assessment.
A few hours later, at approximately t 4:10 a.m. on June 18, Gravelbourg R-C-M-P received a report of a single vehicle collision on Highway 58, south of Gravelbourg. A 20-year-old male from the Gravelbourg area was declared deceased at the scene while two other occupants of the vehicle were taken to hospital for further assessment. Both incidents have Saskatchewan R-C-M-P Collision Reconstruction personnel and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service continuing their investigations.
