A months long drug trafficking investigation culminated in a vehicle stop and search warrant on Wednesday that lead to seizures of guns, drugs, and equipment to counterfeit I-D.

A vehicle was pulled over in the 2900 block of McClocklin Road in Hampton Village and a search warrant was executed in the 300 block of J.J. Thiessen Way. Five people were arrested at the home in Saskatoon’s Silverwood neighbourhood.

Two men, age 40 and 43, are facing numerous drug trafficking, weapons, possession of the proceeds of crime charges. A 35-year-old woman was arrested on unrelated warrants. Two other women were released without charges. The investigation is continuing, and more charges are pending.
