A man wanted in connection to an RCMP investigation into a shooting in Meadow Lake on November 23rd has been arrested and is remanded in custody until his next court appearance tomorrow (Wed).
Just before 11 o’clock on the 23rd, the RCMP were alerted about 2 men being shot while driving in Meadow Lake.
The driver, a 32 year old man, suffered a gunshot wound to his back and the passenger, a 50 year old man was also injured.
Police tracked a vehicle leaving Meadow Lake and attempted to stop it but it fled, and then lost control and crashed into some bushes.
Four men, 37 year old Richard Angus, 30 year old Corey Bouvier, 25 year old Joshua Matheson and 25 year old Charley Seright were arrested and charged for dangerous driving and flight from police.
On Monday, Lennex Merasty-Morin was arrested and is facing 13 firearms related offences.
