A Prince Albert man is facing aggravated assault charges after allegedly stabbing another man.

On Friday at 6:00am, Prince Albert Police responded to the report of a stabbing. They were dispatched to the 1000 block of 8th Street East. Upon arrival the police located a 39-year-old man with serious life-threatening injuries. The suspect, a 37-year-old man, was located in the home at the time of the incident and was taken into custody. He is charged with Aggravated Assault and will appear in court Tuesday, July 4.
The victim is now in stable condition.
