The Saskatchewan Roughriders’ injury report had 15 names on it after Monday’s practice session at Mosaic Stadium.
That number swelled to 18 after Tuesday’s closed workout to the media and public in advance of Thursday’s home game against winless Edmonton. Receiver Jake Wieneke and centre Peter Godber were both ruled out to play against the Elks with knee and hand injuries, respectively. They join left tackle Jerald Hawkins, who was knocked out of the Calgary game early in his C-F-L debut with a knee hurt. Place-kicker Brett Lauther, right tackle Colin Kelly, defensive tackle Micah Johnson and receiver Kalija Lipscomb are all listed as questionable. On the good news side, defensive lineman Anthony Lanier and defensive back Rolan Milligan both took part in a full practice today after missing the first two days. Saskatchewan is 2-1 while the Elks are 0-4.
