The 2-1 Saskatchewan Roughriders will make only five changes to their roster for Thursday’s home game with 0-4 Edmonton, compared to their last outing nearly two weeks ago in Calgary.
Among the changes, Jake Wieneke was added to the six-game injured list, so Regina product Matthew Picton starts at slotback. Logan Bandy starts in place of Peter Godber, who was place on the one-game I-L, at centre. Brandon Council comes in for Jerald Hawkins at left tackle. Colin Kelly stays at right tackle, despite missing the first two days of practice this week. Also returning to the roster is Frankie Hickson as the back-up to Jamal Morrow at running back.
