The Canadian Elite Basketball League returns to action tomorrow with Brampton at Niagara. The Saskatchewan Rattlers are idle until Tuesday when they visit the Winnipeg Sea Bears at 6 p.m. The Snakes have 4 wins, 9 losses…good for 5th place in the Western Conference. The Rattlers next home game is Saturday, July 15th when they host the Edmonton Stingers. Tip-off time is 7:30 p.m. at SaskTel Centre.

The Provincial Junior Golf Championships continue and wind up today at the Chinook Golf Course in Saskatoon. Over 100 total competitors, under the age of 19, in the Junior Women’s and Junior Men’s divisions will take part in the three-day, 54-hole stroke play events. Besides age group winners, the top overall players will advance to represent Saskatchewan at national championships. Today is the third and final round of 18 holes.
