Four people are facing forcible confinement charges in connection to a Meadow Lake RCMP investigation. Around 9:30 in the evening last Tuesday, officers responded to a home in Meadow Lake where an injured man was found inside. He was transported to hospital with injuries believed to be non-life threatening.
Police were told a group of individuals confined the man and a female in the basement and threatened them with firearms. The man was assaulted and robbed, and the female was able to escape.
Twenty-eight year old Jaycee Patenaude is charged with two counts of forcible confinement. Thirty-year old Sheldon Partridge faces the same charges along with two counts of assault with a weapon. Then, along with those charges, 34-year-old Lindsay Bouvier and 38-year-old Brenda Partridge are also charged with using a firearm in the commission of an offence, uttering threats and robbery, among others.
