Just before 6 p.m. last Saturday, Spiritwood RCMP and local EMS responded to a report of a 38-year-old man who had been assaulted at a home on Witchekan Lake First Nation. He was declared dead at the scene.
The Saskatchewan Coroners Service and the North Battleford RCMP Forensic Identification Section are assisting with this investigation and an autopsy was scheduled for today (Mon). Anyone with information is asked to contact the police or submit an anonymous tip by contacting Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
