Moose Jaw Police have arrested a 29-year-old man after a standoff in the community on Tuesday.

Police had issued an advisory of a police operation in the area of 8th Avenue Northeast and Stadacona Street East. They say officers had seen a man they know was on a 24-hour curfew and was to remain in Regina.

They also learned he may be in possession of a weapon. Moose Jaw Police officers with the help from negotiators, K9, and drone operators were able to talk a suspect out of the building. He was arrested without incident.

Zackery Marckoski was in court today (weds) on weapons related charges.
