Martensville has a new City Manager. Tanya Garost has been selected to take over after Scott Blevin retired last month.
Her new appointment comes on the heels of an extensive recuitment process led by City Council and a national executive search firm.
Garost has over 20 years of experience working in local government, most recently with the District of Lake Country, British Columbia as Chief Administrative Officer.
Martensville Mayor Kent Muench says they know they have found a professional who has extensive experience in municipal government and is familiar with the challenges of a growing community.
Tanya Garost’s first day is September 18th.
