It’s been a year long investigation but Moose Jaw Police have now charged five people and recovered several stolen firearms which were tracked down in Regina and Moose Jaw.
In October 2018, a storage unit was broken into in Moose jaw and over 25 guns and ammunition were stolen.
The investigation include assistance from the National Weapons Enforcement Support Team and over 80 weapons charges have been laid against Brian Thorne-Bitternose of Regina; Jordan Shields from Eyebrow; Nicholas Connolly, Ryan Tatum and Dakota Desjarlais, all of Moose Jaw.
An arrest warrant has also been issued for Kristen Desjarlais. Anyone with information is asked to contact Moose Jaw Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
