A Prince Albert woman who was wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant has been arrested and is facing several charges.
Thirty-seven-year-old Ilona May Josie was arrested Wednesday in the 3200 block of 2nd Avenue West by both the Prince Albert Crime Reduction and Saskatchewan Trafficking Response Teams.
She was wanted for breach of statutory release, meaning she was recently released from prison and failed to comply with certain conditions.
After her arrest, police say they found a sawed off .22 calibre rifle, ammunition, 36 grams of methamphetamine valued at about $2500, and 1.7 grams of MDMA. She faces charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking and several firearms released offences.
She made her first court appearance Thursday morning in Prince Albert Provincial Court.
