The former Winnipeg ICE made their second-ever trade as the Wenatchee Wild – in as many days.
Wenatchee acquired 19-year-old left winger Gabe Ludwig Friday from the Prince Albert Raiders for an eighth round selection in the 2027 W-H-L Prospects Draft. On Thursday, the Wild sent 20-year-old winger Carson Latimer to Red Deer. Ludwig had two goals amongst nine points in 37 games after P-A acquired the Alaskan from Seattle as part of the Nolan Allan trade. Following is the news release from the Raiders…..
Raiders acquire eighth round pick from Wild
The Prince Albert Raiders made their first ever trade with the Wenatchee Wild on Friday, acquiring an eighth round pick in the 2027 WHL Prospects Draft, in exchange for 2004-born forward Gabe Ludwig.
Ludwig, who was acquired by the Raiders from Seattle in the 2022-23 season as part of the Nolan Allan trade, suited up in 37 games with Prince Albert. The Eagle River, Alaska product registered two goals and added seven assists with the green and gold.
