A week of voting begins today (Thurs) for constituents in the by-election ridings of Regina Coronation Park, Lumsden-Morse and Regina Walsh Acres. The advance polls are open noon to 8 p.m. each day through Tuesday, but no voting on Monday, which is Saskatchewan Day. Then, next Thursday between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. is the last chance to vote.

Elections Saskatchewan says a total of 630 vote by mail applications were approved before the August 1st deadline to apply. Those who are mailing in their ballots, will need to have them posted no later than voting close next Thursday at 8 p.m.

Chief Electoral Officer of Saskatchewan, Dr. Michael Boda, say it’s more of an election week than election day with advance polls and mail-in options.
