Saskatoon Police have arrested a man following a stabbing late Sunday afternoon.

Around 5:30, officers responded to call from the 300 block of Avenue C South. A 32 year-old man was on the sidewalk with a stab wound. He was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries.

A suspect fled on foot, but was arrested during the noon hour on Monday. The 26-year-old man is charged with attempted murder, and the two are not known to each other.
