Callum Crawford led the Black Wolves with three goals and three assists, as New England defeated the Saskatchewan Rush 12-8 in National Lacrosse League action on Saturday.
Andrew Kew also had a six-point night for New England (2-0), scoring twice and adding four assists.
Reilly O’Connor contributed a pair of goals and three helpers, while Stephan Leblanc and Joe Resetarits recorded a goal and three assist for the Black Wolves.
Doug Jamieson made 44 saves for the win.
Mark Matthews scored four goals and an assist for the Rush (1-1).
Saskatchewan’s Evan Kirk was pulled after stopping 12-of-18 shots. Adam Shute came in and made 25 saves in relief.
