A potential two steps forward on the injury front were met with two definite steps backwards for the Saskatchewan Roughriders Thursday.
Following the Green and White’s second day of preparation for Sunday’s Labour Day Weekend Classic match-up with Winnipeg in Regina, head coach Craig Dickenson says Canadian receiver Brayden Lenius and import defensive back Rolan Milligan are unlikely to return this season with their respective foot injuries. But, Dickenson did say there is still a chance for Canadian guard Philip Blake to play at some point coming off his torn pectoral muscle. As well, quarterback Trevor Harris would be in the final two games of the season if he was to return from the knee injured suffered seven weeks ago against Calgary. The Roughriders are 5-5 while the Bombers are 9-2 and can be the first C-F-L team to clinch a playoff spot with a win.
