Call it an adjournment or a pause, but a proposed soccer stadium with a Canadian Professional League team as its main tenant is not going to happen as initially scheduled.
A news release (below) from Prairieland Park says they and Living Sky Sports and Entertainment have decided to “adjourn” the project. LSSE had been awarded the chance to secure a franchise. A 5,500-seat stadium (rendering pictured) was to be built on the land where the former Marquis Downs grandstand and race track stand.
