Beauval RCMP are looking for a man wanted in connection to an investigation of a gun being shot early Sunday morning. Officers were alerted around 2:30 that morning and the initial investigation has determined that a gun was shot at a woman in a vehicle. She didn’t report any physical injuries to police. Suspects fled in a black SUV.
The vehicle was later found at a home on Flying Dust First Nation. Twenty-three-year-old Cory Lafleur from Beauval is facing charges that include uttering threats, discharging a firearm with intent, and carrying a weapon for a dangerous purpose. A warrant has been issued for his arrest. He is described as being about 5’11” and 200 pounds with black hair and brown eyes, and he may have travelled to Meadow Lake, Prince Albert or Saskatoon, but that can’t be confirmed.
