The second Sunday in September each year is Firefighter’s National Memorial Day.

It is an opportunity to pay tribute to firefighters who risk their lives and remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

On Sunday, the Saskatoon Fire Department will observe a moment of silence at 10:00 a.m. Firefighters will be at attention on the ramps of their stations and flags at half-mast in honour of Firefighters’ National Memorial Day.
