Rosetown R-C-M-P have revealed that Monday’s serious collision on Highway 7 resulted in a fatality with another person in serious condition.
A westbound semi and an eastbound S-U-V collided just west of Tessier at about 1:20 p.m. on September 11th. A 75-year-old male from Medicine Hat, who was the driver of the S-U-V, was declared deceased at the scene. The sole passenger of the S-U-V was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The driver and sole occupant of the semi reported minor injuries. Rosetown R-C-M-P and a Saskatchewan R-C-M-P collision reconstructionist continue to investigate. Highway 7 has re-opened after being closed for the initial investigation.
