Joshua Bradley Adams is in Moose Jaw Provincial Court today charged in connection to a home invasion that left a man in hospital.
The Moose Jaw Police Service says their officers responded to a suspicious occurrence at a home in the city’s Currie Heights neighbourhood on Wednesday around 8 p.m. where they found an injured 28-year-old man inside who had suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the head and was stabbed multiple times.
Police investigation determined that two men broke into the home armed with a shotgun and a knife and fled the scene prior to police arrival.
Adams, who police say, was on a lifetime order of prohibition not to possess firearms, was arrested without incident. Moose Jaw Police Service has issued an Arrest Warrant for 29-year-old Ryan Gill Perrault who they say should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. Perrault is described as 5’9″ tall, with brown eyes and black hair.
Twenty-eight-year-old Joshua Adams faces several charges including one count of Breaking and Entering, one count of Attempted Murder.
In addition, while investigating at the home, officers discovered and seized 1 kilogram of Fentanyl with a street value of approximately $400,000, along with $6,700 in Canadian currency.
