On September 16th Southey RCMP say their detachment received a report about suspicious activity at a home in Strasbourg. Subsequently a search warrant was executed where a number of devices were seized.

RCMP say messages of a sexual nature had been exchanged between an adult male and someone under the age of 16.

A 46-year-old Strasbourg man was arrested and charged this past Saturday with Child Luring, Invitation to Sexual Touching, Arranging a sexual offence against a child and Possession of a substance for the purpose of trafficking.

The accused makes his first court appearance today in Regina and no name has been released as yet to protect the identity of the victim.
