The Saskatoon Police Service says its Serious Assault Unit is investigating a shooting that took place over the weekend.
Around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, police responded to an injured person report at a home in the 100 block of Avenue I North.
When officers arrived they found a 17 year old male with a non-life threatening injury.
The teen says he and two friends were walking on Bedford Road between Avenues H and I when they were approached by two unknown males who spoke to them and then began shooting. The suspects then fled the scene. No one else was injured during the incident.
The suspects involved in this incident are believed to be in their 20’s, between 5’11” and 6′ in height. One suspect was wearing a grey zip hoodie, grey pants and black shoes. No further description details are available.
