Three people are facing drug charges in connection to a Prince Albert Crime Reduction Team investigation into drug trafficking. The Prince Albert Police Service reports that on Monday, the CRT executed a search warrant at a home in the 500 block of 13th Street East. Two men were arrested at the home prior to the search.
Police say about 22 grams of cocaine was seized, along with almost $23,000, cell phones, a digital scale and other evidence to support drug trafficking. Twenty-six-year-old Ahmad Kumar and 25-year-old Yafet Kidane are charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime. A 38-year-old woman was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance.
