A 20-year-old Saskatoon man accused in the beating of another man earlier this fall has received a four year prison sentence.

Sean Stevenson was arrested at an apartment in the 17-hundred block of 20th Street West close to where the September 21st assault was witnessed.

He pleaded guilty to aggravated assault Wednesday in Saskatoon Provincial Court.

The 38-year-old victim was taken to Royal University Hospital with critical injuries.

A 17-year-old boy was also charged with aggravated assault.
