RCMP have arrested 27-year-old Tristan Custer in connection to a homicide investigation stemming from October 1st when officers responded to a report of an injured person on a street in Deschambault Lake and found a 17-year-old – deceased.

Custer was arrested on Tuesday in Prince Albert and is in court on Monday charged with one count of second-degree murder.

A female youth was arrested during the initial investigation in relation to the death of the 17-year-old male. While at a home in Deschambault Lake arresting the girl, another man was also arrested on warrants for charges including assault with a weapon however he was suffering from injuries from another assault and that too is under investigation. His injuries were described as serious. The female teen is charged with one count of second-degree murder.
