Subject of dangerous person alert found and arrested Friday

As a result of ongoing investigation, 29 year old Justice Bird, the subject of a dangerous person alert in the Montreal Lake Cree Nation area, was located and arrested by police Friday at a home north of Montreal Lake. Waskesiu RCMP had issued a dangerous person alert around 3:40 p.m. Thursday after receiving reports of two male suspects armed with a firearm.

One other person was taken into custody and one injured person was reported to police. They were taken to hospital but there is no update on their condition. The dangerous persons alert for Montreal Lake Cree Nation issued by the Saskatchewan RCMP was cancelled as of 10:20 p.m. Thursday.
