A 30 year old Regina Man, wanted by Regina Police, was nabbed by Saskatoon Police this morning [fri]. Around one o’clock, officers pulled over a suspicious vehicle on the 300 block of Avenue R South. The car initially stopped but then took off, only to hit a fence on the 16 hundred block of Avenue P South. The suspect and a woman ran off. The Air Support Unit watched as they ran to the riverbank on Spadina Crescent and was able to direct officers on the ground to them. The man was arrested. A machete was allegedly located under the front seat of the vehicle. The suspect is facing several charges including Evade Police, and Dangerous Driving. The woman was released without charges.
