To provide a safe, accessible, and convenient parking facility for hospital visitors and employees, construction on the new Regina General Hospital parkade is underway.
The parkade, which will be built in the northwest portion of the existing parking lot, will add a total of 686 parking stalls to the facility.
In a news release from the province, Health Minister Everett Hindley says the project is much needed, as “Parking availability and safety at the Regina General Hospital has been a concern for patients, staff and visitors.”
Construction is expected to be completed by November 2024.
