Revenue from goods manufactured in Saskatchewan rose by about 11 per cent from 2017 to 2018. Statistics Canada says only Newfoundland and Labrador had a larger increase. Nationally, the increase was almost six per cent. Total revenue in the province in 2018 rang in at about $1.7 billion. The lion’s share of manufacturing revenue – 77 per cent in total – lands in Quebec and Ontario, accounting for about $23 billion.
