La Loche RCMP have made an arrest from the investigation into online threats against a school made on social media. Reports of the threats were received by police on Monday.

Twenty-year-old Shawn Herman from La Loche is charged with uttering threats and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. The weapon was seized by police. Herman has been remanded into custody until his next court appearance on November 2nd.
