President’s Choice brand White Sliced Mushrooms have been recalled due to Listeria. This recall was triggered by Canadian Food Inspection Agency test results. There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product.

If you think you became sick from consuming a recalled product, contact your healthcare provider. Check to see if you have recalled products and do not consume, serve, use, sell or distribute the recalled mushrooms. Throw them our or return it to the location where they were purchased.

Food contaminated with Listeria may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick. Symptoms can include vomiting, nausea, persistent fever, muscle aches, severe headache and neck stiffness. The mushrooms were sold in BC, Alberta and possibly other provinces.
