La Ronge RCMP say the incident they are investigating north of La Ronge that shut down Highway 102 Monday morning is a woman who was found dead along the highway.

RCMP have not identified the victim but say she was discovered around 5:30 a.m. Monday morning. She is indigenous, appears to be between 20 to 30 years old, shoulder length brown hair that has red highlights and was wearing a blue colored Toronto Blue Jays bunny-hug and green sweat pants.

Anyone with information that could help investigators is asked to contact La Ronge RCMP.
