Thirty-seven-year-old Nicole Laurin suffered serious injuries in a late afternoon incident that occurred at a residence on the 300 block of 13th Street East.

Laurin was transported to Victoria Hospital by ambulance where she later died.

A second person was also injured. A 31-year-old woman was driven to hospital by an acquaintance.
