Saskatchewan Roughriders defensive back Nic Marshall has been released following his arrest and firearm charge.
Marshall was arrested in Columbus, Georgia on a gun charge on Wednesday, but the Club didn’t find out until Sunday night.
Thirty-one-year-old Marshall has been with the Riders since 2018 and was a West Division all-star in 2021. Before that he was a quarterback at Auburn University and spent two years in the NFL.
