City Hall and City Library locations are closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day as well as New Year’s Day.
You don’t have to plug the Pay Parking Stations on Christmas Day or New Year’s Day but if you’re taking advantage of Boxing Day Deals, you will have to pay.
Saskatoon Landfill is closed Christmas Day and New Year’s Day with all other days open on regular winter hours.
If you have garbage pick up or recycling pick up normally scheduled on Wednesdays, because Christmas Day is on a Wednesday, your black and blue cart collections take place on December 28th. For those with garbage or recycling pick up landing on New Year’s Day, your collection day will move to January 4th.
Saskatoon Transit and Access Transit operates Holiday Service schedules December 25th, 26th and January 1st. The Jingle Bell Express Route will provide free service all day on Boxing Day.
Regular and Access Transit service is free all day on New Year’s Eve.
