It may have seemed like a quiet Christmas, but not for everyone. Parkland ambulance responded to a snowmobile collision in the Anglin Lake area. Paramedics responded to a 60 year old man who was injured around 11:30 Christmas morning, and was transported to hospital.
Around 3:30 on the 25th, paramedics responded to a collision near the Little Red River bridge on Highway 55 east of Prince Albert. There were no injuries reported. Then just after 9 p.m., paramedics responded to a vehicle collision near Spruce Home on Highway 2 North. A 60 year old man was taken to hospital in stable condition. Three other people weren’t injured.
There were a few accidents reported on Boxing Day, but only 2 with injuries. Just after 10 in the morning, there was an accident about 20 kilometres south of the City on Highway 11. A 50 year old man was taken to hospital in stable condition and a 30 year old man with serious but stable injuries was transported to Royal University Hospital. Then, paramedics responded to a vehicle /pedestrian accident. A 50 year old woman was transported to hospital in stable condition.
