The City of Saskatoon has built just over 5 kilometres of sidewalks this year, as part of its Active Transportation Plan.
The city’s Sidewalk Infill Program focuses on eliminating gaps in the existing sidewalk network by completing the design and construction of new sidewalks adjacent to existing arterials, collectors and local streets.
The federal government funded $5 million for this project.
