Graham Construction & Engineering is leading the construction project at St. Paul’s Hospital to expand the front entrance with over 6,6000 square feet of renovations.
It includes the relocation of Patient Registration, Security and Information Services.
The upgrades inside the hospital include adding in some more washrooms, a relocated gift shop and a First Nations and Metis Cultural Healing Centre.
At the official groundbreaking ceremony on Thursday, Health Minister Everett Hindley said the project not only improves safety and accessibility, but also will provide First Nations and Metis residents a cultural space for healing, which is a step in the province’s reconciliation journey.
The project is expected to be finished in the fall of 2025.
