Nipawin RCMP are investigating a shooting which happened around 3 a.m. Monday morning. Officers responded to a report of a shooting and found a man with serious injuries who was transported to hospital. Police were told while the man was walking on 3rd Avenue West and was approached by two males. There was an altercation, and a gun was fired.

The suspects are described as having slim builds and they were wearing all black. Anyone who may have video surveillance from 3rd Avenue West near 2nd and 3rd Streets West from 3 a.m. Monday morning in Nipawin is asked contact RCMP.
